About Oman

Arguably Oman is one of the most interesting countries in the Arabian Peninsula. Its amazing desert and maritime heritage give it a flavour quite unlike the other Gulf States. The Arabian desert, which is the most arid region in the world, combines with hundreds of miles of pristine beaches ensures there are wonderful experiences just waiting to be discovered in Oman. The ancient Bedu tribes people, their traditions and camel trains make for a captivating adventure, while Muscat, as one of the Middle East’s oldest cities, provides an interesting base from where to start your Omani adventures.

Oman can be both a physical and cultural adventure all in one, such is the nature of this remote destination for adventures across the desert sands and beaches of Oman.

Oman’s unique geology and fauna and flora enable wonderful opportunities for pioneering adventures. Whether you are a small group tour, company, family or individual looking for an adventure holiday or activity holiday Oman can provide you with something just a little bit different. Be it a moonlit camel trek or the chance to see turtles laying their eggs on the beach, or visiting traditional shipbuilders tending and repairing their dhows, Oman can deliver a wonderful adventure. We do not believe in repetitive sight seeing tours that are repeated every few weeks by the high street travel companies. Instead we prefer to be able to organise small group travel trips or tailor-made travel so you can explore this amazing country in an original and unique way.  

Our background as a company has been formed by travelling around the world as well as organising major international expeditions and we hope that some of this rubs off on the trips we organise for our clients. 

Our adventures tend to be more active than many others and we strive to be original such as living with the Bedu tribes people and learning to ride their camels or taking a trek along the ancient desert paths made famous by the SAS in their campaigns against insurgents during the 1960’s. We rate this trek as one with a reasonable level of physical difficulty and exclusivity – you will certainly learn how to survive in the desert..

We love Oman for its ancient desert cultures, its tribes people and its strong maritime cultures and beaches- in short we think Oman is a great place to experience something a little bit different and you will have a very pleasant surprise. And in Oman we have identified a range of adventure travel activities to participate in from trekking with camels or on foot amongst many other adventure and cultural activities.

This desert expedition gives you a unique opportunity to trek with the local Bedu, travelling in the traditional manner - trekking through the desert on camels by moonlight and camping out under the stars. 




This unique expedition uncovers the SAS routes of Jebal Akhdar.  We retrace routes through the rocky mountains, steep cliffs and tiny villages in this fiercely rugged terrain which offers the most breathtaking scenery.
